About the crawler
This project reads vendors' own published firmware pages and keeps a copy of each, so that claims about how long a product was supported can be checked against what the vendor actually published at the time.
What you will see in your logs

We honour robots.txt, including Crawl-delay, and we slow down
when asked. A disallow is recorded as a fact about the vendor's crawl policy rather than
worked around, and we do not impersonate other crawlers to get past one.
If you would rather we did not
Disallow us in robots.txt and we will stop. Your products will remain in
the database, marked as unmeasurable, because “this vendor declines automated
measurement” is itself a fact worth publishing — and it is not the same as an accusation
that they abandon their hardware.
